Cathode and Anode Flexibles

Our Flash Welded cathode and anode flexibles feature high current efficiency, lower energy consumption and reduced operating costs. All metal fabrication work is done in our Elberton, GA USA manufacturing facility, which is ISO 9001:2008 certified. Our exclusive, and state of the art, flash welding process, featuring PAMAS' two proprietary 1500 kVa Ton Flash Welders, ensures the total quality of each high performance weld. PAMAS recently commissioned and installed the second of these two Flash Welders, greatly enhancing our capacity and production capability. Both Flash Welders operate under the same state of the art weld control software. The software is able to control dozens of weld parameters and allows the user to analyze the weld at any point during the operation. This allows PAMAS to be fully able to control the weld outcome, develop new products and ensure our customers know exactly what they are using on their reduction cells. The dissimilar metals are flash welded and then are immediately tested to measure the weld's hot resistivity, tensile strength, and cold resistivity. PAMAS inspects 100% of the flexibles for these properties and a detailed summary of the weld properties is available to our customers for every single weld produced. The critical test data is also applied to the flexible itself. In addition to flash welded flexibles, PAMAS can produce all other types of flexibles including:
